Prayer is the lifeblood of a believer’s relationship with God. It is through prayer that we commune with our Creator, seek His will, and experience His power. To build an altar that cannot be broken, we must cultivate a consistent, fervent, and faithful prayer life. Let’s explore why this is vital and how Scripture encourages us to take prayer seriously.

1. The Altar as a Place of Divine Encounter

In the Old Testament, altars were physical structures where sacrifices were offered and God’s presence was revealed. Abraham, for example, built altars at significant moments to honor God and establish a covenant with Him.

“Then he built an altar to the Lord who had appeared to him.” (Genesis 12:7)
