Do You Know Jesus Enough to Preach Him? A Challenge to the Heart

Preaching Jesus requires not only knowledge of who He is but also a personal, intimate relationship with Him. To truly share the gospel effectively, one must know Him deeply, experience His transformative power, and allow the Holy Spirit to work through them. Here's an honest reflection on whether one knows Jesus "enough" to preach Him and what it means to grow in that understanding:

1. Knowing Jesus: The Foundation of Preaching Him

  • Jesus is Central: To preach Jesus, you must first know Him as Savior, Lord, and the Son of God. Without a relationship with Him, any message about Him lacks power and authenticity.

    • “This is eternal life: that they know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent” (John 17:3).
  • More Than Intellectual Knowledge: Preaching Jesus isn’t about knowing theological facts but about experiencing Him personally—His grace, love, forgiveness, and power.

    • “Taste and see that the Lord is good” (Psalm 34:8).
  • A Daily Relationship: Knowing Jesus is a lifelong journey of walking with Him, studying His Word, and being shaped by His Spirit. Even the Apostle Paul, who preached Jesus boldly, sought to know Him more deeply:

    • “I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of His resurrection and participation in His sufferings” (Philippians 3:10).

2. Do You Know Him Enough?

  • If you have truly experienced salvation through Jesus, you already know Him enough to share your testimony. The Samaritan woman at the well preached about Jesus to her community immediately after meeting Him (John 4:28–30).
  • Knowing Jesus “enough” isn’t about being a perfect theologian but about being a faithful witness of what He has done in your life.

3. Growing in Your Knowledge of Jesus

To preach Jesus effectively, continue deepening your understanding of Him:

a. Spend Time in His Word

  • The Bible reveals Jesus. Study it to understand His character, teachings, and mission.
  • “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly” (Colossians 3:16).

b. Seek Intimacy Through Prayer

  • Prayer deepens your relationship with Jesus. It’s through communion with Him that you hear His voice and align your heart with His.
  • “Remain in me, as I also remain in you” (John 15:4).

c. Depend on the Holy Spirit

  • The Holy Spirit empowers and guides you to preach Jesus boldly and accurately.
  • “But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth” (John 16:13).

d. Walk in Obedience

  • Knowing Jesus includes living out His teachings. A life that reflects Christ speaks louder than words.
  • “Whoever claims to live in Him must live as Jesus did” (1 John 2:6).

4. The Holy Spirit Enables You to Preach Jesus

  • You don’t need to rely on your own strength or wisdom to preach Jesus. The Holy Spirit equips you to speak with boldness and clarity.
  • “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses” (Acts 1:8).

5. Confidence Comes From Knowing and Loving Him

  • True preaching flows from a heart overflowing with love for Jesus. When you truly love Him, you cannot help but speak about Him.
  • “For we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard” (Acts 4:20).

6. A Humble Heart to Keep Learning

Even as you preach Jesus, remain humble and open to growing in your knowledge of Him. None of us knows Him fully yet. We are all on a journey:

  • “For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face” (1 Corinthians 13:12).

A Personal Reflection

Ask yourself:

  • Have I experienced the saving power of Jesus in my life?
  • Am I spending time daily in His Word and in prayer to know Him more deeply?
  • Am I willing to share what I know about Him, even if I don’t have all the answers?

Closing Prayer

Abba Father, in the name of Jesus, I come before You with a desire to know You more deeply. Thank You for the gift of salvation and the privilege of preaching Your name. Lord Jesus, help me to walk closely with You, to experience Your love and power in my life, and to reflect Your light to the world. Holy Spirit, guide my words and give me boldness to share the gospel with truth and love. May everything I preach about You glorify Your name and draw others into a relationship with You. In the almighty name of Jesus, Amen.

No Mercy for Darkness: Conquer the Enemy with God’s Light

"Do Not Show Mercy to Darkness: Stand Firm in the Light of Christ"

As believers, we are called to walk in the light and oppose the works of darkness. The Bible is clear: darkness represents sin, evil, deception, and the dominion of Satan. Showing mercy to darkness—by tolerating sin, compromising with the enemy, or remaining silent in the face of evil—leads to spiritual defeat. Instead, God commands us to confront darkness with His truth, authority, and righteousness.

1. Darkness Has No Place in the Life of a Believer

  • The moment you accepted Christ, you were delivered from the power of darkness:
    • “For He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves” (Colossians 1:13).
  • As a child of God, you no longer belong to darkness and cannot allow it to linger in your life.
    • “What fellowship can light have with darkness?” (2 Corinthians 6:14).

2. God’s Command: Eradicate Darkness

  • The Bible calls us to actively expose and remove darkness wherever it tries to gain ground:
    • “Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them” (Ephesians 5:11).
  • Darkness thrives in compromise and passivity. Mercy shown to it often comes in the form of tolerating sin, excusing disobedience, or ignoring spiritual warfare. This must not be so.

3. Why We Must Not Show Mercy to Darkness

  1. Darkness Seeks to Destroy:

    • Darkness, under Satan’s control, is relentless in its mission to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). You cannot negotiate with or pity something that seeks your destruction.
  2. Compromise Leads to Bondage:

    • When we allow darkness to remain, we open the door to spiritual chains and oppression.
    • “A little yeast works through the whole batch of dough” (Galatians 5:9).
  3. God is a God of Holiness:

    • Showing mercy to darkness is an insult to God’s holiness. His Word calls us to be holy as He is holy (1 Peter 1:16).

4. How to Refuse Mercy to Darkness

a. Walk in the Light

  • Stay in fellowship with God, the source of all light, and allow His Word to illuminate your path.
  • “God is light; in Him there is no darkness at all” (1 John 1:5).
  • Surround yourself with truth and reject anything that contradicts it.

b. Submit to God and Resist the Devil

  • The Bible is clear about the strategy for overcoming darkness:
    • “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7).

c. Use the Authority of Christ

  • Jesus has given you authority over the power of darkness. Do not fear it; command it to leave in the name of Jesus.
  • “I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you” (Luke 10:19).

d. Equip Yourself with the Armor of God

  • Spiritual warfare requires spiritual weapons. Put on the full armor of God to stand firm against darkness:
    • “Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes” (Ephesians 6:11).

e. Purge Your Life of Sin and Temptation

  • Remove anything in your life that opens the door to darkness—whether it’s a habit, relationship, or compromise.
  • “Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles” (Hebrews 12:1).

f. Declare the Word of God

  • The Word of God is a weapon against darkness. Speak Scripture boldly into situations where darkness seeks to take hold.
  • “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it” (John 1:5).

5. God’s Promise: Victory Over Darkness

  • As you stand firm in God’s power and refuse to show mercy to darkness, He promises to fight for you and bring you victory:
    • “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still” (Exodus 14:14).
    • “The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet” (Romans 16:20).

6. A Warning Against Compromise

  • Remember Saul, who failed to fully obey God’s command to destroy the Amalekites (1 Samuel 15). His partial obedience and mercy toward what God had condemned led to his downfall.
  • Partial obedience is disobedience. To deal with darkness, you must root it out completely.

7. Living in Victory

  • Do not fear darkness; Christ has already overcome it. Live boldly as a child of the light, reflecting His truth and power.
  • “In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us” (Romans 8:37).

Closing Prayer

Abba Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for delivering me from the dominion of darkness and bringing me into the light of Your Kingdom. Forgive me for any areas where I have shown mercy to darkness or allowed sin to linger. Strengthen me to stand firm in Your truth and authority, exposing and rejecting all works of the enemy. Empower me by Your Spirit to walk in holiness and shine Your light in a dark world. As Your Word says in Ephesians 5:8, ‘For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light.’ In the almighty name of Jesus, Amen.

Reignite Your Flame: A Call to Restore Your Passion for God

"Rekindle the Fire: Restoring Your Passion for God"

There are moments in the Christian walk when the fire of our faith seems to dwindle. The passion for prayer, worship, and serving God may not burn as brightly as it once did. But Yahweh, in His grace, calls us to reignite that flame and return to our first love. Rekindling the fire is about restoring the zeal, commitment, and intimacy we once had with the Lord.

1. Recognize When the Fire is Fading

  • Just as physical fire diminishes without fuel, our spiritual fire wanes when neglected.
  • Signs your fire may be fading:
    • Prayer and Bible study feel like obligations rather than joys.
    • You become indifferent to sin or spiritual matters.
    • Worship feels empty, and your passion for God's work diminishes.
  • Jesus warned the church in Ephesus:
    • “Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first” (Revelation 2:4).

2. Why the Fire Fades

  • Neglect of Spiritual Disciplines: Ignoring prayer, worship, and Scripture allows the flame to weaken.
  • Distractions of the World: Pursuing worldly pleasures and comforts can crowd out devotion to God.
    • “Do not love the world or anything in the world” (1 John 2:15).
  • Unrepented Sin: Sin blocks intimacy with God and quenches the Spirit.
    • “Do not quench the Spirit” (1 Thessalonians 5:19).
  • Weariness in Service: Burnout or lack of focus on God can cause passion to fade.

3. Rekindling the Fire

Rekindling the fire starts with a deliberate desire to restore your relationship with God. Here’s how to reignite that spiritual flame:

a. Return to Your First Love

  • Reflect on the joy and passion you had when you first encountered Christ. Renew that commitment to Him.
  • “Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first” (Revelation 2:5).

b. Fan the Flame of the Spirit

  • Stir up the gifts and callings God has placed within you. Let the Holy Spirit reignite your heart.
  • “For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you” (2 Timothy 1:6).

c. Immerse Yourself in Prayer

  • Prayer is the oxygen of the spiritual fire. Cry out to God for revival in your heart.
  • “Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me” (Psalm 51:12).

d. Feast on God’s Word

  • Scripture feeds your spirit and rekindles your faith. Let God’s Word remind you of His promises.
  • “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (Psalm 119:105).

e. Worship with Abandon

  • Enter God’s presence with heartfelt worship, focusing on His greatness and goodness. Worship reignites your connection with Him.
  • “Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker” (Psalm 95:6).

f. Remove Hindrances

  • Identify anything blocking your fire—sin, distractions, or unhealthy priorities—and surrender them to God.
  • “Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles” (Hebrews 12:1).

g. Surround Yourself with Passionate Believers

  • Community helps reignite your passion. Share your faith journey with others who encourage and inspire you.
  • “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another” (Proverbs 27:17).

4. Sustaining the Fire

  • Once rekindled, the fire must be maintained. Keep fueling it with:
    • Daily time in prayer and Scripture.
    • Consistent worship and gratitude.
    • Active service in God’s Kingdom.
  • “Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord” (Romans 12:11).

5. Yahweh’s Promise to the Rekindled

When you return to Him and reignite the fire, God promises renewal, strength, and purpose:

  • “For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants” (Isaiah 44:3).
  • The Lord delights in restoring His children to a vibrant and passionate faith.

Closing Prayer

Abba Father, in the name of Jesus, I come before You acknowledging the times when my fire has faded. Forgive me for neglecting Your presence and allowing distractions to pull me away. Rekindle the fire of my heart, Lord! Fill me afresh with Your Holy Spirit and renew my passion for You. Stir up the gifts and callings You have placed within me, and let my life burn brightly for Your glory. As Your Word says in Psalm 85:6, 'Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You?' I surrender to You and trust in Your power to reignite my soul. In the almighty name of Jesus, Amen.

Stop Looking Back: Move Forward into God’s Purpose for Your Life

The command “Do not look back” is a powerful spiritual principle found throughout the Bible. It calls believers to leave behind past sins, regrets, and distractions to focus on God’s purpose and promises. Looking back often represents hesitation, doubt, or attachment to the things God has called us to leave behind. To walk fully in God’s plan, we must keep our eyes fixed forward, trusting Him completely.

1. The Warning of Lot’s Wife

One of the clearest warnings about looking back comes from the story of Lot’s wife:

  • “But Lot’s wife looked back, and she became a pillar of salt” (Genesis 19:26).
    • God had commanded Lot and his family to flee from the wicked city of Sodom and not to look back. Lot’s wife disobeyed because her heart was still tied to what God was destroying. Her backward glance revealed hesitation, attachment, and lack of trust in God’s deliverance.
    • Lesson: Looking back can cost us everything. When God calls us to move forward, we must obey without hesitation.

2. Jesus’ Teaching: Focus Forward

Jesus referenced Lot’s wife as a warning to those who are tempted to hold on to the past:

  • “Remember Lot’s wife! Whoever tries to keep their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life will preserve it” (Luke 17:32–33).

He also taught about the necessity of wholehearted commitment:

  • “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God” (Luke 9:62).
    • Lesson: Looking back distracts us from the mission ahead. A divided heart cannot fully serve God.

3. Why We Are Tempted to Look Back

  1. Fear of the Unknown:

    • Moving forward with God often requires stepping into the unfamiliar, and fear can tempt us to retreat.
    • “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9).
  2. Attachment to the Past:

    • Old habits, sins, or comforts can feel easier than the transformation God is calling us to.
    • “You were running a good race. Who cut in on you to keep you from obeying the truth?” (Galatians 5:7).
  3. Regret or Guilt:

    • Dwelling on past mistakes can paralyze us spiritually, but God offers forgiveness and freedom.
    • “Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3:13–14).

4. How to Stop Looking Back

  1. Trust God’s Plan:

    • Believe that God’s plans are better than anything left behind.
    • “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11).
  2. Renew Your Mind:

    • Focus on God’s promises rather than past failures or comforts.
    • “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind” (Romans 12:2).
  3. Fix Your Eyes on Jesus:

    • Keep your focus on Christ, who leads you forward.
    • “Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith” (Hebrews 12:1–2).
  4. Embrace the New:

    • Let go of what no longer aligns with God’s purpose for your life.
    • “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?” (Isaiah 43:19).

5. The Reward of Moving Forward

God’s blessings and purposes are found in the future, not in the past. By trusting Him, we open the door to His promises and eternal rewards.

  • “Forgetting the former things; do not dwell on the past” (Isaiah 43:18).
  • “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus” (Philippians 1:6).

Closing Prayer

Abba Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for calling me forward into Your promises. Forgive me for any times I have looked back with regret, fear, or hesitation. Help me to fix my eyes on You, trusting in Your plans and purposes for my life. Strengthen me to let go of the past and walk boldly into the future You have prepared. As Your Word says in Philippians 3:13–14, I choose to forget what is behind and press on toward the goal to which You have called me. In the almighty name of Jesus, Amen.

Awaken, My Children: Yahweh’s Urgent Call to the Sleeping Church

Wake Up, My Children," Says Yahweh: A Call to Spiritual Awakening

In these critical times, Yahweh, the Lord Almighty, is calling His children to awaken from spiritual slumber. His voice echoes through Scripture and resonates in the hearts of believers, urging us to rise up, walk in His light, and fulfill the divine purpose He has set before us. Let us reflect on this urgent call and examine how we can respond faithfully.

1. The Call to Wake Up

God's cry to His children is clear: awaken to the truth, to His presence, and to the urgency of the times.

  • “Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you” (Ephesians 5:14).
  • The church must be vigilant and alert, no longer distracted by worldly comforts or complacency. Yahweh desires a people prepared for His work and His return.

2. Why Does God Call Us to Wake Up?

  1. Spiritual Slumber Leads to Danger:

    • A sleeping church cannot see the enemy’s schemes.
    • “Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour” (1 Peter 5:8).
  2. The Harvest is Ready:

    • The world is in desperate need of the gospel. The fields are ripe, but the laborers are few (Matthew 9:37–38). God calls His children to rise and be His hands and feet.
  3. Time is Short:

    • The return of the Lord is imminent. We are called to live in readiness, advancing His Kingdom.
    • “The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light” (Romans 13:12).

3. How Do We Wake Up Spiritually?

  1. Repent and Seek God:

    • Turn away from sin and distractions, and draw near to Yahweh in humility.
    • “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven” (2 Chronicles 7:14).
  2. Renew Your Mind:

    • Align your thoughts with God’s Word to discern His will.
    • “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind” (Romans 12:2).
  3. Be Filled with the Spirit:

    • Seek a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit to empower you for the mission ahead.
    • “Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty” (Zechariah 4:6).
  4. Live in Obedience:

    • Walk boldly in faith, obeying God’s commands and stepping into the calling He has for you.
    • “Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says” (James 1:22).

4. The Role of the Church in Awakening

The body of Christ must lead the way in answering Yahweh’s call:

  • Prayer and Intercession: Lift up nations, communities, and individuals before the Lord.
  • Preach the Gospel: Boldly proclaim the truth of Jesus Christ to a lost and broken world.
  • Disciple the Nations: Equip others to know and follow Christ, building His Kingdom.

5. Yahweh’s Promise to the Awake

For those who heed His call, God promises restoration, empowerment, and reward:

  • “Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever” (Daniel 12:3).
  • As we rise and walk in obedience, Yahweh will pour out His Spirit and manifest His power through His children.

Closing Prayer

Abba Father, in the name of Jesus, I hear Your call to wake up. Forgive me for any complacency or distractions that have kept me from walking fully in Your purpose. Awaken my heart, renew my spirit, and empower me by Your Holy Spirit to live boldly for You. Let Your light shine through me to a world in need of Your truth and love. As Your Word says in Isaiah 60:1, ‘Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.’ In the almighty name of Jesus, Amen.

Empowered by God: Accessing the Power You Need to Live Victoriously

The power of God is essential for every believer to live victoriously, fulfill their purpose, and walk in alignment with His will. Without God’s power, we rely on human strength, which is insufficient for overcoming spiritual battles, manifesting Kingdom authority, and reflecting Christ in a fallen world.

Let’s explore why believers need the power of God, how it operates, and how to access it:

1. The Power of God Is Essential for Victory

  • The Christian life is a spiritual battle, and human strength cannot prevail against the enemy. The power of God enables believers to overcome the schemes of Satan.
  • “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes” (Ephesians 6:10–11).
  • God’s power is not just about defense but also about advancing His Kingdom.

2. The Power of God Through the Holy Spirit

  • Jesus promised His followers that they would receive power when the Holy Spirit came upon them:
    • “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses” (Acts 1:8).
  • The Holy Spirit empowers us to:
    • Proclaim the gospel boldly (Acts 4:31).
    • Resist sin and temptation (Galatians 5:16).
    • Operate in spiritual gifts for the edification of others (1 Corinthians 12:4–11).

3. The Power of God Brings Transformation

  • The power of God is not just for external works; it transforms us internally. It gives us a new heart, a renewed mind, and the ability to live righteously.
  • “His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of Him” (2 Peter 1:3).

4. The Power of God Demonstrates His Kingdom

  • The Kingdom of God is not just about words but about the demonstration of God’s power:
    • “For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power” (1 Corinthians 4:20).
  • Miracles, signs, and wonders testify to the presence of God’s Kingdom and draw people to Him.

5. The Power of God Enables Us to Fulfill Our Calling

  • Every believer has a unique purpose, but fulfilling it requires God’s power. Human effort alone is inadequate to accomplish Kingdom work.
  • “Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us” (Ephesians 3:20).

How to Access the Power of God

  1. Abide in Christ:

    • The power of God flows from a deep relationship with Jesus.
    • “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing” (John 15:5).
  2. Be Filled with the Holy Spirit:

    • Continuously seek to be filled with the Holy Spirit, who is the source of God’s power.
    • “Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit” (Ephesians 5:18).
  3. Pray Fervently:

    • Prayer connects you to God’s power. Jesus often withdrew to pray and demonstrated power in His ministry.
    • “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective” (James 5:16).
  4. Live by Faith:

    • Faith activates God’s power in your life. Without faith, it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6).
    • “Everything is possible for one who believes” (Mark 9:23).
  5. Walk in Obedience:

    • God’s power is released when we align ourselves with His will. Obedience opens the door to His supernatural intervention.
    • “If you love me, keep my commands” (John 14:15).

Examples of God’s Power in Action

  1. In the Early Church:

    • The apostles performed miracles, healed the sick, and boldly preached the gospel, all through the power of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:43, Acts 5:12–16).
  2. In Jesus’ Ministry:

    • Jesus demonstrated God’s power through healing, deliverance, and authority over nature.
    • “And the power of the Lord was with Jesus to heal the sick” (Luke 5:17).
  3. In Your Life Today:

    • God’s power can work in your life to break chains of addiction, heal relationships, provide strength in trials, and equip you for Kingdom work.

A Call to Receive God’s Power

If you feel weak, unworthy, or powerless, remember that God’s power is made perfect in weakness. It’s not about your strength but His.

  • “But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me” (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Closing Prayer

Abba Father, in the name of Jesus, I come before You acknowledging my need for Your power. I cannot do anything in my own strength, but I trust in Your Spirit to equip me, guide me, and strengthen me. Fill me with the Holy Spirit, and let Your power flow through my life to fulfill Your purposes. As Your Word says in Acts 1:8, may I receive power to be Your witness and live boldly for Your Kingdom. In the almighty name of Jesus, Amen.

Have you secure your name in the Spirit Realm

Securing your name in the spirit realm is about being firmly established in your identity in Christ and walking in the authority, purpose, and relationship God has ordained for you. It signifies that your name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life and that you are recognized in the spiritual realm as a child of God, redeemed and empowered through the work of Jesus Christ.

Let’s explore what it means to have your name secure in the spirit realm and how you can ensure this:

1. Your Name Written in the Lamb’s Book of Life

  • The most important sign of securing your name in the spirit realm is having it written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, a record of all who belong to Christ. This signifies eternal security in God’s Kingdom.
  • “Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire” (Revelation 20:15).
  • How to secure your name: Repent of your sins, accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, and live a life that reflects your faith in Him.
  • “Rejoice that your names are written in heaven” (Luke 10:20).

2. Spiritual Authority Recognized by Heaven and Earth

  • Your identity and authority in the spirit realm depend on your relationship with Christ. Without Christ, the spirit realm does not recognize your authority.
  • The story of the sons of Sceva in Acts 19:13–16 highlights this:
“Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, but who are you?”
    • True spiritual authority comes when your life is submitted to Christ, and you walk in His power.

3. Living as a New Creation

  • Securing your name in the spirit realm means embracing your new identity in Christ and rejecting your old, sinful nature.
  • “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” (2 Corinthians 5:17).
  • As a new creation, you are marked by the Holy Spirit, who confirms your place in God’s family (Ephesians 1:13–14).

4. The Seal of the Holy Spirit

  • The Holy Spirit is God’s seal of ownership on your life, a guarantee that you belong to Him and your name is secure in the spirit realm.
  • “When you believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit” (Ephesians 1:13).
  • The Spirit also empowers you to live in victory and authority, making your presence known in the spirit realm as a child of God.

5. Overcoming the Enemy

  • Having your name secure in the spirit realm means you are known as a victor in Christ. This victory is achieved not by your own strength but through the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony.
  • “They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony” (Revelation 12:11).

6. Reflecting Kingdom Citizenship

  • Securing your name in the spirit realm also involves living as a citizen of heaven, reflecting the values and power of God’s Kingdom.
  • “But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ” (Philippians 3:20).

How to Ensure Your Name Is Secure

  1. Confess and Believe in Jesus Christ:
