Burnt Offering  Isaiah 53 : 7,8 "He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. What is Acceptable Spiritual Sacrifice?

Genesis 27:1-4 "And it came to pass, that when Isaac was old, and his eyes were dim, so that he could not see, he called Esau his eldest son, and said unto him, My son: and he said unto him, Behold, here am I. And he said, Behold now, I am old, I know not the day of my death: Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison; And make me savoury meat, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat; that my soul may bless thee before I die." In Genesis 27:1-4, we find a scene where the aging Isaac, whose eyesight is failing, calls upon his eldest son Esau to prepare a meal that would bring him satisfaction. In my interpretation, I draw a parallel between this narrative and the idea of presenting an offering that satisfies a spiritual being, connecting it to the New Testament priesthood. Psalm 105 : 1 "O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people." Abba Father, in the name of Jesus, I give you thanks for your abundant provision. Thank you for everything you have bestowed upon us and for your unwavering goodness. In you, all things are made, and we are grateful for your constant care and concern for us. Thank you for your faithfulness that never wavers. We express gratitude for those called to serve you and for the immersion of your holiness in our lives. Thank you for the blessing of a great prayer call and for allowing me to walk closely with you. Your wisdom is a precious gift, and we are thankful for its guidance.
